What it's about

CoRelation led the media relations for the launch of Corona Immunitas, a Switzerland-wide research programme of the Swiss School of Public Health (SSPH+), which comprises 12 universities. The programme collects epidemiological data on SARS-CoV-2 immunity in the Swiss population and provides reliable findings on the spread, extent and duration of immunity in different regions and population groups.

Challenge

Within the shortest possible time, a new, scientifically demanding research programme had to be positioned communicatively and conveyed in an understandable way to the broad public. At the same time, the communication of the participating universities had to be coordinated and a consistent message ensured.

Result

Within a few days, CoRelation developed the communicative positioning and the key messaging, prepared media materials and coordinated the initial communication with media and politics. In addition, a political advisory board was initialised and a comprehensive Q&A created to ensure consistent communication («one voice») of the 12 participating universities.
