Launching the Family Score

What it's about

The Family Score is a scientifically based employee survey that uses a single metric to measure the family-friendliness and flexibility of employers. For Pro Familia Schweiz we developed the concept of the Family Score and supported the umbrella organisation in implementing, introducing, positioning and promoting the online survey and the score. An accompanying guide describes the procedure and offers solution approaches for optimising the company's family-friendliness.

Challenge

Family-friendliness is a decisive competitive factor in the labour market. The goal was to create a system-based and free instrument that enables cross-company comparisons. With it, companies were to receive a metric standardised across Switzerland that allows comparison with other companies and industries. CoRelation supported Pro Familia Schweiz with strategy and concept development, website content, brochures and information materials, sales presentations and a PR concept.

Result

The Family Score has fostered competition for family-friendly working conditions and made employer attractiveness visible to the outside world. The communication presence contributed significantly to rapid recognition and successfully established the Family Score as a label.
